Happy Juneteenth!!!!!!! 150 plus years!

Free At Last! Free At Last! I Am really Free At Last!

People! People! Did you know that TODAY, June 19th……Juneteenth 2013 marks 150 years since the Emancipation Proclamation of 1863 was signed. This was the LEGAL documented which the president Abraham Lincoln declared that all slaves in the rebellious states, “ shall be then, thenceforward, and forever free.”

History Channel tells us that at one point Lincoln realized that abolition of slavery was a sound military strategy. Modern day abolitionists stand for the ending of sex trafficking, abortion, genocide, unjust treatment or men, women and children throughout the earth especially regarding the Global African Diaspora family. The ending of the ways of death is a profound strategy of Life.

Yes, I have been free for 150 years in the United States and 2013 on the planet Earth. Yes, I was once a slave with No identity and No dignity No respect and no freedom. Yet before I was stolen from my native soil, sold and ostracised, I received a freedom that some hoped I never would know again. You see before I was an African slave, I was free…free in Christ Jesus who by His spirit, though others decided they would attempt to destroy me….He declared life over me and my ancestors. He wrote me into eternity and stained my heart with His identity. What was stripped hundreds of years ago, He has and continues to restore. Oh Beautiful Africa, Oh Beautiful descendants of this rich and promising Nation, God has made promises to you He has never forgotten…Keep your eyes up and your heart open to His truths, He is healing, restoring, saving, calling, delivering and freeing you. I love you, I LOVE you and His love is much GREATER than every symbol of hate that has shown its self against you. HE DOES LOVE YOU.

Happy Day of Freedom, there is many, many, many more to come. You shall eat the fruit of the land, you shall see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. You shall live in Him and shall not die. Today is not your final chapter, the word of death is not your final call, His word, His Life reigns.

Black Pearl...Daddy's Little Girl...

Let me lift you up where you belong.

These are the lyrics that I have been dancing through my thoughts for the last few days. It is from a 1990's song by the artists Yo-Yo and I believe that she was talking to little black girls...which was I in the 90's. I reflect on the hook of the radio version, " Black Pearl...Daddy's little Girl...Let me lift you up where you belong". The black pearl is a rare and beautiful jewel, it is found in one main region on the planet and when you look at it your eyes adore and your heart is in awe. For years I have preferred pearls over diamonds, I felt that I was "pearl women", they are of a different type of classy women and those who appreciate them will understand me most. They can express ones' place of confidence and elegance while standing in humility and love for they are not a flashy jewel but one of understood influence and non-aggressive power. Within the pearl family there are natural shades of red, pink, white, green, blue and the stunning black, my favorite. Interestingly enough, I learned a few years ago that my first name means "Beautiful View" and I not only think it's fitting of my appearance and my character but the way I look upon most things...especially those that are often overlooked..with a "filter" of beauty...I see some of what God sees..more identity and value then most. The Black Pearl can resemble to me Black Life-men, women and our children-a rare, beautiful, unmatched and desired jewel.

I have been heard many times saying the phrase, "I love Black People", some times during silly moments yet most often as I hear of and see us accomplish another task that best shows one of our more hidden characteristics-greatness. I am one of those who believe we have come from greatness and every time we operate differently, it is because we either lost sight of who we really are or no one has told us yet. The hook says...Let me lift you up where you belong...so that is what I am going to do.

Black Pearl- daddy's (God, Abba) little girl and boy, His man and woman, you are the apple of His eye and the desire of His heart. You are of great power, ability, beauty, influence, wealth and strength...every other Pearl knows this and that is why unfortunately there have been direct efforts to keep you limited, unaware, bound and even have encouraged self-hate amongst you. Your life...your VERY life is greatly worthy of preservation and a tremendous asset to every where you have been and are going. You are phenomenal. You belong continuously in your place of royalty, abiding in the place of "head-ship" and not "tail". God said that the poor will always be among us...but He did NOT say it was you. In the book Song of Solomon, the women who the King pursues says, I am dark but lovely (1:5)..it is as if she reflects a moment, looks upon herself as others may view her and declares...I am lovely. I am, I am...You are, You are....dark but lovely. May you live under His open heaven and identify with the truth of who you are....a priceless beauty of strengthen, power, unmatched character and abilities, you are a jewel worth preserving, Black Pearl...You are Lovely.

Waited too long for God...

A Poem...Short Story...or a mid afternoon reflection.

I waited to long for the Lord and my heart sunk. My fire went out. I went time and time again to the prayer alter of fire but the wick on my candle grew cold and it could not hold a flame for long.
How could this be? I prayed and fasted, I believed and declared, I disagreed with the lies of the enemy and turned a deaf ear to those who spoke but never once listened to the voice of God for their wisdom. I did it all. I believed beyond the due date of bills (believing that His response included a miracle, I mean He said He would supply my needs but I guess the tuition bill was not a need?...but then again that ment my degree was not a need either?)...but He sent me to school.
So I continued to believe and I waited for justice, since He is the God of justice....but it never came. A few say, it is coming...but for this situation, it is not. So what do you do? Keep waiting? When do you stop and say, He has not completely abandonded me but He has completely stopped responding to the situation?
I waited too long for God here, maybe I should have made a turn a few months ago..or maybe a few years.
I asked Him, I asked Him for understanding, clarity, HELP...I searched scriptures and daily spent hours in prayer when finally there was one devastation my heart could not recover from....and I became numb.
His scriptures stirred up angry like when a child is told repeatedly that a gift is coming and they grow-up old waiting for the unfulfilled promise. My lips could not utter prayers because disbelief in what would be said, out-weighed the belief that it was still true. Let me remind you, this place of numbness comes from years of believing and being disappointed, believing...and more disappointment; promises manifested & then being stripped away, family members tragically losing their lives and friends drastically losing their manifested promises. It did not happen over night but I hope healing does...and that it last a while.
Well, we can get up from the stoop of waiting...not that we were sitting still twittling our thumbs...we waited for the BIG, stepped out of the boat & walked on water like Peter (Matthew 14:29).....and kept walking and I guess its like Jesus bid you to come like Peter...but then moved the goal further out into the darkness of the sea and when you turned around, the boat was gone too.
Real reflections of a heart, wondering if it waited too long. Selah.

Africa sees you...but do you see them?

There are moments in history where we have seen footage of children in Africa, portrayed as poor and in great need with very minimal resources. Often in those same images, we may see t-shirts with pictures of celebrated American musicians, actors and rappers.  For me personally, I often wondered how our shirts and cds have reached these regions of the earth but the resources that support ending of cyclic poverty and enable sustained livelihoods, often do not. These images portray children who "see" Americans, even study and give us their undivided attention, but I am not sure we give them the same courtesy. When I speak of "we", I am not just referring to Americans but one step in a more personal directions, I am speaking of African Americans.

I was standing in the lunch room as a graduate student at a university in Scotland. On the front page of the Scotsman newspaper was a picture of a baby crying and extremely thin in size displaying malnutrition. The article highlighted a crisis in Ethiopia in the summer of 2011 which was the result of drought. The child on the front of the newspaper was the same color as I, originiated from the same continent as I and had a valued life like mine. I decided at that moment that this child was not another casualty of war or extreme poverty, he or she was not another neglected starving African child that needed me to send a few dollars a month to help keep alive, this little baby was my cousin...a child of my lineage and family. I thought I could understand them looking into a face that did not have the same features, bone structure or color as theirs and be ignored but if they looked into my face, they would not understand me looking the other way. The interesting part is that quite often the face that does not look like theirs, does not look away and instead loves, holds, nurtures and makes them stronger. Too often my face is actually not even seen by those little eyes, they don't even know I looked away.

I decided at that moment to stand stronger in the African proverb, " It takes a village to raise a child", and physically carry that photo in my notebook so that my cousin would not be overlooked and I could more directly advocate for their life. This was a monumental moment where I decided that I would no longer look away and begin a strategic journey so that his or her little eyes would see our faces and that our eyes would see theirs.

I believe that many African Americans do not see these images with understanding and do not know the depth of what is going on in the country of Africa that we celebrate as our origin. The truth is, some do know...and do not care...we cannot do much about them....but there are many more that do care and we who do will stand in agreement for justice, true change and revival. If we know the truth of what is happening, we...and the little ones...will be made free. John 8:32.

We see you little ones....here we come.

I Actually Got PHYSICALLY Healed by Forgiving Them

In 2002 I got in a car accident and have suffered back pains for 10 years.
I have begun to believe God to fully heal me over the last 3 years...but before then I just said temporary relief prayers and used various medical treatments. Many, many people have prayed for my complete healing...and I still wait..believe..but wait.

Two weeks ago, I began to pray things like..."Lord, I am sad praying to you with so much pain in my back, I know you want to heal me....so why aren't I healed yet", "This isn't cool God." The pain in my neck and upper back region was tense and I could not even bend my neck fully towards my ear without pain.

On Good Friday (Friday before Resurrection /Easter Sunday) I went to service and Pastor Lambert spoke on few profound topics but it was the part on Forgiveness that kept me looking deeply at the condition of my heart. I began to forgive the 1st person who came to mind but it was the 2nd that I began to negotiate with God regarding. You see, 3 months prior a man murdered my cousin. I was very close to her and though he was in jail, the trial was still on going and I kept my discussions of him very minimal...though I wish that ALL come to Christ...the level of rage and hate I initially had towards him was something I have never felt before and I hope to never again. Yet in that Good Friday service, I thought it would be stupid to end up before the Lord and not enter into the kingdom because of the hate I had towards this person who I often call "that idiot". (This is real talk people).

So I said..."I choose to forgive him". I went to the alter, no one layed hands on me, no one actually prayed over me directly that I am aware of...yet the Lord began to remind me of several others (people and companies) who I had held in my heart and not really forgave for the way they treated me. So I prayed... I felt a tug around my head and neck and I said...I am getting fully free today...today.
I walked away from the service, much lighter and filled with satisfying peace.

I began to think....I wonder if my healing is connected to my unforgiveness? I am going to wait a few days and try my neck.
MONDAY MORNING.....I could bend my neck to my shoulder with NO PAIN AT ALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Genuinely Forgiving people in my heart....healed my body???!!!!!!!!
By His stripes...I am healed? Could also read...He took stripes so that the Father would FORGIVE them...and in that...FORGIVENESS...I am healed. WOWOWOWOWOWOW!
Jesus is real. Lord....extend your sceptre...release more revelation of these things...may your people experience more healing and justice as we Love & Forgive, Love & Forgive, Love and... Forgive.

Christmas Day was April 12, 2012

Merry Christmas!
It 'twas the night before Christmas and all through my house, a few creatures were stirring but none were a mouse!

It was late on the night of April 11th and I could not sleep, it felt that it was the night before Christmas. That level of excitement and anticipation does not happen often in life since most events do not match Christmas day when you are a child so its a relevant memory by the time you are an adult.
So I put on worship music from the devotional playlist from ihop.org...I worshipped and agreed with God, worshipped and agreed. I did not know what I was agreeing with specifically yet I decided to agree with Him and worship. I finally went to sleep.

I arose the next morning and greeted my dad with, "Merry Christmas", he looked at me funny and laughed it off. A little while later a friend called and I greeted her, "Merry Christmas", I told her about the night before and let her know that today was Christmas. There are a few of us who are anticipating miracles of miracles in this month of Nissan (Jewish calendar) which ends April 22. Christmas gifts from our heavenly Father...would make perfect sense to us that live in His favor, respect His word and understand the prophetic. The day went on.

Midday I get a call and the same friend who agreed with me in faith and declaration that morning, said that someones facebook status stated, " I just got a Christmas card today! I sent it to someone in December but it was the wrong address and it just returned to me today".

I could not believe it....it really is Christmas!!! So we became encouraged. A little while later that facebook status was updated and the mother of the girl got a report from the doctor....NOW CANCER FREE!!!! What God?!!!- healings... and Christmas in April....KEEP IT COMING!

I was excited and kept listening out for the phone, waiting on the delivery of the mail and emails to receive Christmas gifts! And yet I did not receive any...so I took a nap...had a dream that I was given an invitation to a birthday party...I think it was a surprise. When I woke up I had an invitation to a wedding from my friend Angel....so I get an invitation to a wedding by an Angel? Ok Lord.

Then I get an email, my friends grandmother had gone home to be with the Lord the week before so her home was being flooded with flowers and bereavement cards. She walks into the kitchen and there was a new card....it was a Christmas card!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WHAT???

So the Lord is going out of His way to let me know He is moving...BIG time for me...and before my heart can settle in doubt or discouragement...He kept it coming... so it goes----I felt it's Christmas, 2 separate people get Christmas cards, I get an invitation from an Angel to a wedding and then a dream inviting me to a surprise birthday party......LORD Thank You for these gifts.....Merry Christmas.
I look to you with expectation....you will not pass me by...it is my time for your miracles of miracles...healing, revival, currency, profit, land, job offered well, salvation in my family, the deep desirs of my heart and more intimate encouters with the Holy Spirit. Thank you, my time...our time is now.
Abba, you are Faithful...Merry Christmas.

PRAY! PRAY! PRAY!

He ran down the street yellowing, PRAY! PRAY! PRAY!
He had a panic in his heart and an urgency that pulled at the ears of the hearers.
Many turned to look, was there something chasing him? was there a message to accompany this urgent command?
Their minds started to think of all the reasons he could be running and yelling in such a way.
The word "Pray" was not foreign to them but the actions were something of a small scale and hardly ever commanded an immediate response, so why in the world is he running and yellowing?

PRAY!PRAY!PRAY!

This is all he could get out, nothing else made sense fore he knew to explain would cause the listeners to lessen the need and make light the urgency so he just continued to run and yell.
He grabbed coats of men, looked at them with eyes of fear and panic begging them to PRAY!PRAY!PRAY! He grabbed the forearm of women and looked up with eyes of a persuasive child helpless, in need and tears of pain gliding down his cheek yelling PRAY!PRAY!PRAY!. He looked softly into the eyes of little boys and girls compelling and encouraging them that prayer from their hearts was needed as well and expressed PRAY!PRAY!PRAY!

Was he mad? Was he crazy?
He was a familiar face to the townspeople but it was his voice that pulled their attention. Soon nothing else would matter.

This story has TWO endings depending on ONE thing--their response.
One ending is that because their hearts were connected to the same source that caused him to run with urgency, they dropped to their knees and layed down on the streets-men, women, boys and girls-and began to pray to the Father God through the Son Jesus Christ via this unction of the Holy Spirit. You see they knew the same scripture that sent him running with panic that day--If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land (2Chronicles 7:14). They knew if they called on God, God would respond.
So prayer begot prayer...and repentance begot worship...and God responded with healing, restoration, miracles and revival. God healed every aspect of their "land."

The other ending is that they starred at him, told him to stop being ridiculous and causing a scene. They became angry in their hearts because they felt no urgency and pride took a front stance. They attempted to use their evil stares and words to discourage him and they refused to respond and pray. Men and women told their children to ignore him, and gossiped amongst themselves. There was no repentance, no response of healings, restoration, miracles nor revival from God...they did not humble themselves and pray....so God could not heal their land.

The urgent heart continued on time after time until one day the Lord spoke and said, "My son, I am grateful for your faithful heart to warn the people, they can never say my love was not extended to them nor can they ever say they did not know. This was your calling...to call them to me...and you did well my good and faithful servant, come home and rest."

The question to ponder is this, in your town today which ending to the story is most likely to occur...unfortunately just like my town, the second ending. May we respond differently tomorrow, it really could be the last day God sends an urgent, crying heart begging us to PRAY!PRAY!PRAY! By the way, this is not a hypothetical story. Selah.

How Many Loaves Does It Take?

It is amazing how less then 10 minutes reading 2000 year old scripture you can realize something completely new....it really is the living word.

I was reading through the book of Mark chapters 6 and 8 and was reminded of those that touched Jesus were healed and then read further to the miracles of the multiplying of food. I first paused at the fact that those who touched Him....were healed....so since I believe in Jesus and the works that He did I will do also (John 14:12), people who reach out and touch their belief and/or faith with mine...will be healed. Wow. So I meditated on that for a bit and prayed it over my life, " Lord, I agree with your word and who you say that I am, may those who touch me be healed. In Jesus name, Amen."

Then as I read Mark 8:17-21, I saw something within the words that I never saw. In one miracle Jesus and the disciples used 5 loaves (2 fish) to feed 5,000 with 12 baskets remaining and then later used 7 loaves (few fish) to feed 4,000 with 7 baskets remaining. This math caught my interests.
Why in one situation did he use only 5 loaves for 5,000 and had 12 baskets extra but it took 7 loaves to feed 4,000 and they took home only 7 baskets? Could it be possible that the Lord needs more, in this case miracles, to convince a small amount of people because of their belief or level of criticism and then they were only able to retain 7 baskets?

Lets look at the 4,000 as members of a congregation--all came to see a miracle and hear a teaching by Jesus but not all believe in their heart--then Jesus says , " we need a level 7 miracle for this group for them to receive but they only will need 7 baskets to give to others because that is all they will share". A disciple responses and says, " Lord, the last group only needed a level 5 miracle, there were 5,000 of them and they took home 12 baskets....why wouldn't this group do the same?" Jesus responds and says, " The 5,000 wanted more and believed in All of who I am so once the miracle began, they allowed me to do more with just a little and they were built in their faith and I knew they would take the remaining 12 baskets and share and share with everyone they encountered after. The 4,000 were skeptical in their hearts and more desired to prove me wrong then to allow me to share the truth, a level 7 miracle was needed to silence the skeptic and at the same time allow the believer with the smallest amount of faith to believe for more and would desire to share the truth of who I am. The 4,000 would only share 7 baskets full, they would wast the remaining 5 had I given then 12."

After receiving this analogy, I paused and repented. Lord, I ask you to forgive me for not believing you and though there is much I am convinced of and believe, help my unbelief (Mark 9:24) which comes from fears from past disappointments and help me to no longer believe lies that stand against who you really are. In Jesus name Amen.

Miracles is what Jesus did most as well as tell people and direct them to the Father God, so today Lord help me to be more like you....a miracle and a way to God. We can only come to God through Jesus the son and the beautiful Holy Spirit is our leader, teacher, comforter and truth that keeps our hearts in God.
May He need less loaves to show Himself true to your heart, and may He be able to trust you with more then 7 loaves to share. Selah. God loves your heart towards Him.

Happy Black LIFE History Month

This month will you pray with me that Black people both here in America and in Africa begin to make the changes to enable our "good" history to be seen?

History that increases the rate of healthy marriages and communities.
History that decreases (to zero) the rate of Black abortions.

History that causes our education levels to rise and our potential to be supported.
History that shuns illiteracy and discourages the watering-down of wisdom.

History that causes us to love each other again, love being Black and love the culture of life.

May that History repeat itself when we had more Black men in college then in prison and we had more Black women married with children then single mothers on public assistance.

I pray that each day 10,000 Black people remove the celebration of death and the things that destroy us as a people from their lives. And then the next day, 10,000 more. And then the third day 10,000 more until hope for life, restoration of family, healing of hearts along with the ending of Black abortions, ending of Black murder, ending of Black prostitution, pornography and sex trafficking, ending of Black drug and alcohol addicts, ending of poor mental and social health amongst Blacks...is the New Normal...a Black LIFE Epidemic. Where the hope to live, the desire to know and respect God and sustain life is our "good" History.

Thank you for praying, Happy Black LIFE History Month

Dear America, I am sure you did not know.

Dear America,

I recently came accross some information and I am sure you were not aware so I decided to write you this little letter.

Each year, for the last eleven, there has been an increase in the state of New York that has caught me off guard. The number of Black babies being aborted is greater then the number of them being born alive. I am sure you did not know because I am sure you would do something about it, right?

Anytime that there is something being taken away, in this case life, more then being allowed to live, there is eventually extinction. Just about every animal who has become extinct, at one point began to be exterminated more then being duplicated until the last one left was no more.

Since this is what is happening in your nation America, it looks like someone or something is trying to lead your Black people to extenction...I hope they fail. Don't you?

Well I am sure you did not know because you would have stood against this extinction campaign and stood for Life, right? You would have asked organizations such as Planned Parenthood, to stop strategically placing abortion clinics in predominately Black neighborhoods, right? You would stop supporting the causes behind why so many Black babies are being borned to young, poor unmarried women, right? And if you were not sure of some of those causes, you would take steps to seek out the truth so you could help bring the sustainable change that releases hope and life in to these communities, right?

Well I am sure you did not know, and I am sure you would do these things if you did know.

Well they say, knowledge is power, so maybe you did not have the knowledge and that is why you gave up the power of life for Black babies?

Well, God forgives those who ask, so then you are forgiven, congratulations. So will you now use this knowledge to release the power of life back into Black communities and families in America? I am sure you will.

Thank you for reading my letter, it is great that you now know.

Sincerely yours,

A Lover of Black People, especially our Babies.

His Call....My Response

Do you remember when you were younger out in the yard or all the way upstairs and you were called be a parent or elder relative? Do you remember how you held your breath to make sure everything around you paused so you could verify whose voice it was...and then respond quickly and respectfully?

Do you also remember as you walked to the direction of the voice, depending on who it was, pondering if there was something you forgot to do or if you were about to be invited into something new and exciting?

That was recently my thoughts as I watched The Call Detroit on 11.11.11 from my college flat in Scotland,United Kingdom. As I watched my friends, their friends, national and community leaders in America send a "call" out for the ending of abortion in our nation, healing and reconciliation between black, white and brown people and for re-commitment of our lives to the respect and love of God...I began to respond.

But wait...who is calling? Just like the analogy I used at the beginning, when you hear someone call your name - "you must analyze the call"- you must pause to realize what direction it came from, who sent it, its tone and what your response should be. Those on the platform, were calling not just on behalf of the need of the nation and for the protection of life in the womb, but they were actually calling on behalf of God's heart. God is pleased when we gather together in unity (Psalm 133), especially when it is to honor His word and His ways...He loves family.

As the historic 24 hour prayer meeting continued, I saw more and more black, brown and white faces encourage me by the sincerity of their hearts towards the goal of ending the decree of death, racism and compromise that has fuelled the separation of men and women's hearts from the truth, God and one another. Though I already walk towards this goal in my personal career and interests, this invitation stirred me to run. But I knew that before I could run...I would have to lay.

My response to the call...was to lay myself down humbly to pray to God for more of His heart, more of His strategy, more of His character so I could run with His burden, His wisdom, revelation, creativity and look more like Him then myself. I want to represent Him well.

So I analyzed the call...its a sound from heaven, it was from the heart and desires of God, it was the tone of urgency and need...my response....Yes, Father, I will partner with Jesus and the rest of my siblings and run. I will look up to your leading and lead others to your heart.

I will stand in agreement to the ending of abortion in America.

I will stand in agreement with LIFE, Truth and Healing in the lives--heart, mind and womb--of Americans-black, brown and white.

I will declare God's love, identity and promises into the lives of my fellow Americans until our hearts are convinced of all of His truths.

Today My Response is LIFE for my people...who are God's people.

Today the death decree ends like in Esther 8:8.

Today we write a new decree...today we decree LIFE.

No Compromise?...Then No Money

This is the right time.
This is the time we were waiting for, yet we did not know it.
This is the moment where we can "test" to see if God is faithful to His word...and watch Him fulfil the promise.

Take a now look UP on Africa.
For years it has been a nation continuously looked down upon.
Many eyes have beheld with sorrow as if the people of this beautiful land were incapable of anything significant and relevant. As if the only way they can be an "asset" to the rest of the world, is by way of the "helping" hands of everyone else.

So they believed this false idea and accepted it as truth and stretched forth arms to receive "help" and missed the opportunity to fulfil their own needs.

So it went on for years and then decades and Help...well it hindered development and progression. Help was almost like manna that the children of Israel received under the leadership of Moses...enough for the now...but not enough to build upon and feed generations to come.

The land was so beautiful and its people so genuine, wise and artistic yet the land became sick. it was strategically abused, violently raped and mocked at its lowest point. The people changes their ways of preserving culture, their ways of sustaining their communities and their ways of loving and respecting one another.
Change after change.

But now there is a new dilemma...those who "help" them say its to compromise. Its time to ignore your morals and cultural beliefs. Its time to officially disagree with God and accept the homosexual agenda. Legalize homosexuality and allow men to sleep with men and women with women. Yet, God has it written in His word,

Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived, Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God. (1 Corinthians 6: 9+10).

Christians did not write this in, He did, but those of us who believe and desire to honour God and His word wish that others would accept these truths and help to bring healing because too often the list above are outward solutions of an inward heart issue.

So if Africa, stand without compromise on this issue and "help" is limited...then its the right time for God to respond. Time for God to show that He is true to His word.
The land is sick with levels and levels of hurt, corruption, sin, despair and death.

There is a promise He made that we want to put before Him.

If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land. ( 2 Chronicles 7:14).

Its time to put His word to the test...He promised...therefore He will fulfil.

Father, we pray as Black people and intercessors from around the world, together, that you would remind your children--especially us of African descent--of these scriptures and your desire for men, women and families. Heal the hearts, heal the land, release truth, eternally silence lies and send revival to Africa and to African Americans throughout the earth. In Jesus name, Amen.

Continuing to Celebrate with the Black Bride.

Its On! In January, I was thinking on the year ahead, praying, listening and thinking some more and then I released a decree. " This year there will be at least 9 Black Weddings, either bride or groom will be Black." Then I paused. "No, Bride will be Black...groom..he can be any color/nation AND I have to know the Bride personally. It can't just be my friends, cousins neighbors sister...it needs to be of those in my personal life." Then it was ON! In four months, 5 Black Brides emerged, three friends I went to school with -Seyi, Tiquila (who got engaged and married already this year) and Morgan. Then my older "sister" Keina who taught me mauch growing up got engaged and then my counsin Starr. I was ecstatic! I had never in my life seen these many Black Brides at one time...NEVER!!! God was responding and blowing our minds...but there was more. Then I felt to release another decree, "the next 4 Bride-and-her-Groom need to be of the prayer movement or going into the prayer movement. They will have been standing pure in their relationship since they have gotten together". And I don't think that these 4 grooms are Black American men. Then I got the following message from my "Power House" Intercessor friend "This is actually what me and another black lady were talking about Saturday/Sunday for black women apart of the prayer movement to be amrried. After we talked she told me that her sister who works in a bridal shop came home and randomly told her that her store was filled with black people getting married. Im believing for a suddenly for all who desire." Then I went through the roof with Revelation of why the Lord is doing...and got so filled with the Joy of His heart towards His people--especially His daughters. The Lord desires for the image of the Good Father God, who He really is, to be seen prominently in the Black families. Abba (daddy in Hebrew), desires a Bride for His son Jesus (Yeshua in Hebrew) and she is the Bride of Christ that we see in scripture. Unfortunately and too often in the Black Community the image of a "good father" is not present and men seeking that One Women to be their bride is even less common. In this hour, God is reminding his Black daughters that He has always desired and loved them and thinks upon them without rest. May ALL see and experience the LovingKindness of Abba towards His daughters and comprehend the passion of the Bridegroom-Yeshua towards His bride. This is not a light thing at all, I believe that Jeremiah 1:12 is happening...Then said the LORD unto me, Thou hast well seen: for I will hasten my word to perform it. We are dark, but Lovely....and His Banner over Us is Love. (Song of Solomon 1:5 and 2:4)

The Reality of Them NOT Inheriting the Kingdom of God

For years we would mock the man who would stand on the street with the double-sided sign that said, "Repent, the kingdom of God is at Hand". We said he was crazy.

We said his message was to strong when it read, "Your sins will cause you to burn in hell if you do not Repent". We said, God knows our hearts...yup and He knows we dont believe 1 Corinthians 6: 9-11 is true...though we say the Bible is Holy and completely true.

The Lords love may not have been "felt" through his (sign guys) presentation but Repentance is the display of His love for without it, the wage...what is do to us for our sins...really is death.

I have cried out for souls...I have interceded, felt God's heavy heart over the matter and cried and cried that people I know personally and do not know at all would repent, and come to know Jesus. BUT today, for some reason it is SO MUCH more real to me.

It could be because while I was on the bus today, kids started fighting and you could sense the anger in one of their hearts and all I could think of is that there was a hurt so deep in the heart, like a father wound. Then I got on another bus, and a young guy started smoking and all I could think was...rebellion was what he was use to..so he did it with no hesitation.

OR it could be the testimony on youtube of what happened when a group of intercessors went to show the love of God to those in the Castro district. (Elijah-Jezebel Showdown, Lou Engle)

WHAT ARE WE DOING????? The reality is that I actually know more people who have not accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and even more who have "accepted" him with their mouths/minds, go to church regularly and do not know, respect or accept Him, His word and His truths in their hearts...and therefore, are actually (currently have the same end-hell-result) just as those I know who don't know him at all.

WHAT WILL WE DO??????

I pray the reality hits our hearts more...I pray we never recover from it.

I am willing to submit, that if He is not Lord over EVERY PART of our life, then He is not Lord of any part. He IS Lord. Make a choice, choose Him completely. Then pray that every heart that you have ever encountered does the same. He is not limited to what you know of Him.

Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived.

Funny Moments in UK

#1
Ok, true story.
So I put on a long dress today then Victor (my Welsh family-pastor friend) said we would walk up to the open market in Pontypool so I said ok, let me go and put on some "pants" under my dress. There was a chuckle from his wife and everyone else in the room but I just smiled, got dressed and headed out.
Then an hour later I saw his daughter with a nice part of jeans and I said, "those are cute "pants", where did you get them from"... She laughed and said...here we call them either jeans, trousers or denim...pants....well, those are under wear!!!
Yup, there were giggles all day. More things to learn while Im in the UK!

#2

So I stood next to a little girl, she couldn't see me from where I was standing, she asked me my name, then she repeated and asked in her cute Welsh voice...Are you the Dark Skinned Lady?...I laughed and said yes...she said.."Where are you from"..I said America...she said, "There are tarantulas in America, right"...I almost said no but at that very moment I remembered the American tv show" Are you smarter then a 5th grader?"...thinking that this little 7 year old was smarter then me and probably just read a book on all the insects on the planet...I kindly said, Yes, I think your right!

The Last Week in the USA

An Ache I cannot Shake

It was Saturday, one week before I would venture to the airport for the flight to the United Kingdom. A few days earlier, all matters were continuing to confirm that it was time for me to go. That day, I woke up with an ache in my back and arms I never had before, I realized that I could no longer stay in the USA, the "grace"..."ability" to abide in this nation as an intercessor was done and the nations were desiring the partnership of my heart with the King in their lands. So I had to go.

Sunday

I visited an older couple, elders in the faith always have a weight of wisdom that makes matters so much easier to understand. B and B M wanted to be sure to pray over me before I headed out and they blessed me so well. Blessings from a mother and a father (even if they are not biologically yours) serves as a catalyst in the spirit. I left them knowing what I needed to do for the next day.

Favor in the Air

Soon as I leave, I stop by to see some friends. I learn that my friend was just taken to the airport to go to Israel for 2 weeks. That morning she needed $1600 for her flight, she only had $1300 but KNEW she had to go. So some of our intercessor friends began to pray, one got a word and said you will not pay more then $800. When she gets there..able to use a buddy pass..ends up paying $500 for round trip...(note 1300-500=800...800 was her overflow!!!) Then after all of that favor...they put this daughter of the KING in 1st class!!!

So I got excited, I needed to be out of this country by the end of the week....its my time!

Monday

Because some of this testimony is still in progress I will say only this, I went into work and shared that I was moving. Was able to share with everyone who asked how the Lord over the last 3 years has CONTINUED to open doors for me as I walked forward/stepped out on Faith. Many starred in awe and listened of testimony after testimony of how God moved miraculously for me. Just like Peter, Jesus spoke...Confirmed it was Him...Peter walked.

Tuesday
A Pastor friend decided to send facebook messages to every pastor, missionary and friend he knew in Europe, messages went to Ireland, Scotland, Wales and England. Many responses and everyone trying to find me connections in Scotland because that was where the Lord was sending me. I was soooooooooo grateful! I watch the Lord moving doors for me. He said as I go, He will open doors....so I watched!

Wednesday

I was invited to Wales. A pastor who has a desire to open up the Wells as Evan Roberts and many others did during the Great Welsh Revival of 1904 was inviting me to stay with him and his family as I wait for things to pan out in Scotland. What an honor. Later I found out that Seth Joshua, the man who spoke the word that impacted Evan Roberts (and released the Holy Spirit in his life) was born 15 yards from my window.

I was being invited by the Holy Spirit to partner with the Lord and agree with intercessors of old...even beyond the Welsh Revivalists of 1904 in the nation of Wales. This is Christian History in the making, this is monumental to me.

Thursday

I feel that I should connect with my brother in Switzerland, spoke with him and decided I am visiting with him the following week. Later that night, the pastors confirmed that I could come over as soon as I would like. I felt the Lord letting me know, Wales was my first stop. Again, beyond honored...I am called to the nations so I leave USA, go to Wales, UK and then to Switzerland all in about a week?!!!!!! How amazing!

Friday

This was a day of final packing, resting and saying good bye.....sweet day.

Saturday

I was a stand-by for the 10:55pm flight to London...then I would take a bus over to Wales.

All day long, I finalized bags and got ready.

I stopped by IHOP Cartersville, people prayed one of the words that stand out to mention is that someone pulled a penny out of their pocket and put it in my hand and said..."One Cent"..I thought, what?? Then I realized, it was "The One Sent", Lord was highlighting, I am the one sent to the nations, there is a wind coming to UK, Provision for you....many other words of encouragement from the Lord. Yup, I am the one being sent from the King into the nations, thanks so much Lord, thanks so much.

I get to airport, flight booked, have to stay at a hotel near airport. I met a women who worked for the airline, from Chilli, we decided to share a room and split the cost. NOW, I never would do this but since the Lord opened all of these doors--I trusted Him more then ever, I felt it was ok, so there it is. She began to share things about Cuba and gave me prayer points to pray for them without her even realizing. It was a great time. Bless you QM!

Sunday

Off to London! I get on the 5:25 plane and sit next to a British guy who became my language teacher. He helped me understand things about the US vs UK customs, it was helpful. I was more and more excited about arriving in UK. Bless you SH!

Monday about 8am....I cross UK Border! Delighted to be in this nation, so excited and enjoying all the accents. This is the land where I needed to be. More to come soon. Cheerio!

Invited into One Year of Intimate Intercession

The Year Before the Nations

One year ago I was accepted into a MPH/PhD program at University of Sheffield in the United Kingdom. I was beyond honored for I was the only American and therefore only African American in the program, the Lord was opening the doors for me to "train" for the nations.

Before it was time to depart, the Lord invited me to stay another year and attend school fall 2010. So I did. In that year he would...through His genuine love for my heart...destroyed the reservoir of hate, bitterness and anger that I kept to lash out at Him when I thought He had deliberately allowed something to happen painfully..."for my good". This reservoir had begun to fill a few months after my mother passed away in Nov. 2001 of cancer. I was sure that I had "peace" about the Lord taking her but instead I had a continuous building of an impermeable wall...that kept lies in my heart and the truth that healed out.

He also taught me how to intimately partner with Yeshua (Jesus) of Nazareth in intercession for my family, friends, cities (especially Atlanta where I lived), nations (Africa and Europe where I was going) and other matters that impacted His heart like abortion in the black community, racism, marital infidelity and mindsets of poverty.

In this one years time, I would be so emotionally healed that I would have to learn how to live in the realm of real freedom of the heart. I was so amazed by how much fear and anger controlled every part of my life that at least 30 times a day, I was thanking Him for my freedom.

As the time grew closer and closer for me to attend Sheffield, money came in but slowly. I knew it was time to leave the USA but what was really going on.

Scotland

2 months before my time to leave, the nation of Scotland, one of the 4 countries that make up the United Kingdom became "highlighted" to me. For me, that means, it would come up in various types of conversations, everyone I met with a European accent...from Scotland, tv shows that I never watched...talked about Scotland in some way. Then I began to watch the History of Scotland (BBC and History channel), learned things like how the Irish brought Christianity over to the Gaelic people of Scotland. Scotland... was everywhere!!! Then I go into work and learn that my exact position in my company had opened up in Scotland...is the Lord making a shift?...am I going to Scotland?

The story continues to unfold but one thing is sure: Before I left the USA, I needed to get to a place in my heart that no matter what, (1) I would not burst out at God from such a disappointed heart (it needed to go), (2) hold things secret in my heart that would jeopardize how freely I would express His love to people throughout the nations and most importantly (3) I would never, never leave Him in my heart, because He truly is the One who passionately loves it.

This One Year of Intimacy allowed me to experience the tangible feeling of His love on me. The Lover who skips upon the hills in desire for me (Sos 2:8)...I actually feel this affection towards me often.

Thank you Lord for the invitation for real intimacy... thank you Heart for accepting.

Purim and the Holiest Place I ever stood

Today, I went to my first Purim Parade in Atlanta, Georgia.
My friends Natasha, Leila and I are among several believers in Yeshua and desire to learn more about Judaism. So we went to Toco Hills watched and celebrated Purim ( the festival remembering the day that the Lord saved the Jewish people from annihilation through the obedience and favor of Queen Esther). Children in costume (symbolizing how Esther hid her identity until the appointed time), candy, whole families and lots of fun!

So Parade ended outside of synagogue. I watched from across the street because I didn't want to do anything that offended them or anything. THen we discussed it and decided to cross.
We watched children in merry-go-rounds and bungy-jumping. I wanted a tour but I felt that my head needed to be covered and I needed a dress. So I asked a lady who was highlighted to me and...she gave us a tour. I looked inside of their sanctuary....it was soooooooooo beautiful. I had never seen something so beautiful. Another women walked up and we began to talk to her and I asked if I could take pictures, she said sure, you can stand outside of the door and take them through the window. I felt that I wasn't allowed in and she implied that as well. BUT to take pictures was enough for me. :-)
Then an older man, Rick, walked up and said would you like to go in.....
I said yes in great awe, but I do not have the proper clothes, he said it is ok ( I think he had leadership in this place).

As soon as I walked in, I began to cry and so did Natasha standing behind me. I sensed a Holy Presence I had never felt before. You can feel a weight of God like I had never known. Now mind you I have felt the presence of God in heavy, profound truly memorable ways and this was just something else amazing that I had never known about God.

Rick began to explain to us the decorations in the room. How there are symbols for each of the 12 tribes of Israel and they each were up in the glass sky light/dome over the main part of room. There was an eternal flame, symbols showing different festivals and he pointed out where the Torah was located. ( I was able to share that I knew they were hand written and on lamb skin and such and he was impressed....thanks Israel and the Kingdom class teachers)!!!
Leila knew so much about various stories in the Torah that Rick went and grabbed a book off of the shelf and they got so in to the Word, I don't know about you but I am sure for African Americans to be this knowledgable about Judiasm is surprising to him and an honor for us.
There was so much symbolism and history, this was such a life changing encounter for us all.

My knowledge is limited at this point in my life but from that I can say this was a presence of Holiness that I have ever known, there is more for me ahead.

As an African American, learning more and more about our Jewish roots as a Believer in Christ, I hope that I grow in the revelation of Christ and help to make History in the hearts of Black Americans. I repeat, there is more ahead.

I'm in Love...with Africa?

As I look upon the photos and images of this great and beautiful stretch of land, I am always in awe. There is a mystery and an amazement that catches me every time yet it is not as if it is all foreign and unknown to my heart despite the fact that I have never stepped foot on the land.

Yet I wonder, what is it that keeps me in awe, what is it that causes me to begin to love beyond reasonable explanation. Why do I care for those children more then any other children on this planet? Is it because they look like me or because I know they belong to me, Me as an African American? Do I care for them more because I know that I can love them better then another race because I understand them more then any oneelse....because I am black? Or is it because over the last seven years I have had dreams of me gathering them, protecting them, teaching and taking care of them. Or...is there more.

Could it be another level of love not limited to my reasoning. Can it be the Love of the Father, God himself towards these children and group of people growing and groaning from my heart.
I want to love them. I want to hold them. Hold them and allow the Father's love to embrace them.

I am in love. I am inside of God's love for them and it is good. I may only be able to express to a few with my words but His love will be displayed and known through my life.
I give my life to love them

I can't believe it's not butter!!

Do you recall that promo quote from the 80's?

Today, I reflect on it because when you grab a small "tub" with that yellow creamy stuff inside and prepare to spread it on your buttermilk biscuit, you expect it to be butter....and well that's not always the case.

That is the same way I feel about believing, stepping out on faith and then seeing it not come to pass.

Our life in the Lord contains more then what is commonly discussed and every step and every adventure is for our benefit and for His honor. Yet we often wonder why, when we go to the "tub" of prayer...reading, declaring His word (logos and rhema),resisting the devil in every way causing him to flee and standing in expectation that when we get up from prayer we will walk directly into our promise....and well that's not always the case.

There is a season of waiting, pressing through, crying, screaming and then there is a brief but the most painful time right before you are kissed with the promise. A friend recently said, its like running the most extreme race ever and right before you get to the finish line you are enduring the worse pain possible and wondering why you decided to be an athlete yet the prize is worth the press.

TODAY, I can say nothing but this, My God will come to my rescue, I will finish the race even if He has to move the finish line closer to my feet.
He didn't take 39 brutal lashes, crown of thorns lodged into his skin, taste His own blood as it poured down his face and then hung up on a tree to be continuously ridiculed so I can just make it by with a partial grin, He died that I might have life and that more abundantly through His Holy Spirit. Not just abundance in materials that are measured by man, but the abundance of love, character, power, fruit of the spirit that last until the return of the King.

So Here I am ....its not butter....its better, come and reveal your Glory Lord, your beloved daughter and friend waits for the truth.
