His Call....My Response

Do you remember when you were younger out in the yard or all the way upstairs and you were called be a parent or elder relative? Do you remember how you held your breath to make sure everything around you paused so you could verify whose voice it was...and then respond quickly and respectfully?

Do you also remember as you walked to the direction of the voice, depending on who it was, pondering if there was something you forgot to do or if you were about to be invited into something new and exciting?

That was recently my thoughts as I watched The Call Detroit on 11.11.11 from my college flat in Scotland,United Kingdom. As I watched my friends, their friends, national and community leaders in America send a "call" out for the ending of abortion in our nation, healing and reconciliation between black, white and brown people and for re-commitment of our lives to the respect and love of God...I began to respond.

But wait...who is calling? Just like the analogy I used at the beginning, when you hear someone call your name - "you must analyze the call"- you must pause to realize what direction it came from, who sent it, its tone and what your response should be. Those on the platform, were calling not just on behalf of the need of the nation and for the protection of life in the womb, but they were actually calling on behalf of God's heart. God is pleased when we gather together in unity (Psalm 133), especially when it is to honor His word and His ways...He loves family.

As the historic 24 hour prayer meeting continued, I saw more and more black, brown and white faces encourage me by the sincerity of their hearts towards the goal of ending the decree of death, racism and compromise that has fuelled the separation of men and women's hearts from the truth, God and one another. Though I already walk towards this goal in my personal career and interests, this invitation stirred me to run. But I knew that before I could run...I would have to lay.

My response to the call...was to lay myself down humbly to pray to God for more of His heart, more of His strategy, more of His character so I could run with His burden, His wisdom, revelation, creativity and look more like Him then myself. I want to represent Him well.

So I analyzed the call...its a sound from heaven, it was from the heart and desires of God, it was the tone of urgency and need...my response....Yes, Father, I will partner with Jesus and the rest of my siblings and run. I will look up to your leading and lead others to your heart.

I will stand in agreement to the ending of abortion in America.

I will stand in agreement with LIFE, Truth and Healing in the lives--heart, mind and womb--of Americans-black, brown and white.

I will declare God's love, identity and promises into the lives of my fellow Americans until our hearts are convinced of all of His truths.

Today My Response is LIFE for my people...who are God's people.

Today the death decree ends like in Esther 8:8.

Today we write a new decree...today we decree LIFE.

No Compromise?...Then No Money

This is the right time.
This is the time we were waiting for, yet we did not know it.
This is the moment where we can "test" to see if God is faithful to His word...and watch Him fulfil the promise.

Take a now look UP on Africa.
For years it has been a nation continuously looked down upon.
Many eyes have beheld with sorrow as if the people of this beautiful land were incapable of anything significant and relevant. As if the only way they can be an "asset" to the rest of the world, is by way of the "helping" hands of everyone else.

So they believed this false idea and accepted it as truth and stretched forth arms to receive "help" and missed the opportunity to fulfil their own needs.

So it went on for years and then decades and Help...well it hindered development and progression. Help was almost like manna that the children of Israel received under the leadership of Moses...enough for the now...but not enough to build upon and feed generations to come.

The land was so beautiful and its people so genuine, wise and artistic yet the land became sick. it was strategically abused, violently raped and mocked at its lowest point. The people changes their ways of preserving culture, their ways of sustaining their communities and their ways of loving and respecting one another.
Change after change.

But now there is a new dilemma...those who "help" them say its to compromise. Its time to ignore your morals and cultural beliefs. Its time to officially disagree with God and accept the homosexual agenda. Legalize homosexuality and allow men to sleep with men and women with women. Yet, God has it written in His word,

Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived, Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God. (1 Corinthians 6: 9+10).

Christians did not write this in, He did, but those of us who believe and desire to honour God and His word wish that others would accept these truths and help to bring healing because too often the list above are outward solutions of an inward heart issue.

So if Africa, stand without compromise on this issue and "help" is limited...then its the right time for God to respond. Time for God to show that He is true to His word.
The land is sick with levels and levels of hurt, corruption, sin, despair and death.

There is a promise He made that we want to put before Him.

If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land. ( 2 Chronicles 7:14).

Its time to put His word to the test...He promised...therefore He will fulfil.

Father, we pray as Black people and intercessors from around the world, together, that you would remind your children--especially us of African descent--of these scriptures and your desire for men, women and families. Heal the hearts, heal the land, release truth, eternally silence lies and send revival to Africa and to African Americans throughout the earth. In Jesus name, Amen.
